Stockton Arts Week Returns October 13th
October 4, 2017
Stockton Arts Week is back and better than ever with an incredible lineup of arts, music, and museum events!
From October 13 to the 22, Stockton Arts week will be bringing in over 30 arts-related events ranging from museum grand openings to live performances. Visit Stockton has put on Stockton Arts Week for two years now and this year will only improve on the fun that was had last year.
With events like the Haggin Museum’s “Grand Reveal” on October 13, museum lovers will be amazed at the 2.5 million dollar renovation that was recently completed. The “Grand Reveal” on the 13 is a ticketed event, however the museum will be open to the public on October 14 and 15 to show off the renovations to the general public.
The City of Stockton Community Services Department has partnered with Goodstock productions to bring you “Collide: A Stockton Arts Week Experience” to the Janet Leigh Plaza at 11 a.m. each weekday from October 16 to the 20. The event will take place outdoors and feature a variety of live performance art, food trucks, and music.
Stockton Arts week will finish with a very special event to excite symphony lovers and moviegoers alike. The Stockton Symphony will perform alongside a screening of The Mark of Zorro during their pops performance on the last day, October 22, of Stockton Arts Week. This is a rare experience that you won’t want to miss.
