are gearing up plans to celebrate the Faire’s 20th year by adding one more night to the event, Friday, April 1. The Faire opens the next day and continues through April 3, 2016, downtown Manteca.
The celebration kicks off Friday, April 1, at Library Park, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Evening festivities include tunes from Sierra High School Jazz Ensemble and Modesto Symphony Youth Orchestra Woodwind Quintet. Evening eats are "Taco Truck" style, featuring Greek, BBQ, and Mexican and carnival foods.
Saturday and Sunday, April 2 and 3, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., boast a Faire shopping extravaganza, promising more entertainment, food and beverages from around the world, and shopping to your heart’s delight. New this year is the addition of a Wine and Beer Garden. The action-packed weekend ends Sunday at 5 p.m.
A corresponding Carnival, by Bass Pro, opens a day earlier, Thursday, March 31, thrilling guests Thursday through Sunday, 4 p.m. until 11 p.m.
