Hackathon Calls on College Students for Drought Solutions

Calling all college students! Are you looking for an opportunity to make a difference? The H2O Hackathon – A Water Challenge is inviting top minds to solve on-the-ground challenges for using water in urban and agricultural applications as efficiently as possible.
The purpose of H2O Hackathon – A Water Challenge is to stimulate innovation in water technologies that will solve on-the-ground water management challenges in both the urban and agricultural sectors through new applications and systems. The event will take place October 9, 2015, at the Robert J. Cabral AG Center in Stockton, Calif.
University of the Pacific and San Joaquin Delta College are joining iHUB San Joaquin, in partnership with Restore the Delta, the Delta Coalition, Café Coop, the San Joaquin Partnership, the A.G. Spanos Companies, and various Delta businesses to co-sponsor the event.
The H2O Hackathon is accepting college students, graduate / PhD students, and industry professionals. There will be cash prizes and a Golden Spigot Award given out to winners.
