Stockton Metro Airport to Receive $1.4 M in Funding for Improvements
September 18, 2014
Stockton Metropolitan Airport received a boost to its efforts to improve and expand operations at the facility. The airport is set to receive $1.4 million from the Federal Aviation Administration for improvements. When the work is completed, there will be a “new aircraft parking apron next to the passenger terminal, allowing it to handle multiple airline flights at once, officials said.”
The airport is completing its Airport Capital Improvement Program. A key component of the program is reconstruction of the terminal parking ramp, the asphalt apron where passengers load and unload.
